Beatrice & Eleonora dallagnese

Born near Venice (Italy) in 2000, Beatrice and Eleonora Dallagnese are among the most up-and-coming female Italian pianists in the panorama of classical music for 2021, both as soloists and piano duo.

The twins’ first experience with classical and chamber music took place at the tender age of 3 and a half, when they followed a preparatory course in music. Classical compositions populated their early years, drawing out the talent that has motivated them to embark on a life full of passion and great satisfaction. At home, love of art was always expressed through listening to classical music, that inspired them and encouraged them to take piano lessons with M° Eleonora Mometti aged just 4 years old.

A PIANO FOUR HANDS RIGHT FROM THE START

Their parents still recall the twin’s first recital with emotion: “Two pianists who played with their feet dangling because they couldn’t reach the floor”. From that first performance, Beatrice and Eleonora Dallagnese embarked on a path that to date has led to them being recognized as among the leading Italian female pianists, and seeing them perform in some of the most prestigious theatres.

From playing their very first notes, thanks to the intuition of their teachers, they began to develop their distinctive technique as a duo that today places them among the leading Italian classical pianists. A technique which over time they have refined and perfected through the symbiosis so common to twins, whilst not detracting from their differences.

Their regularly hold concerts and have obtained numerous first prizes in International Competitions in Italy, Belgium, Austria, Slovenia, Poland, Principality of Monaco and USA.

Two professionals who are aware that classical music is a living gift, to be brought into the world and made available to all.

INTERPRETATION OF CLASSIC PIECES

Interpretation is as important to them as the technical study of the piece. They know that a deep and careful study of the piece also entails knowledge of the composer’s life, the historical moment in which it was composed and the deeper significance of every single note. Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Mozart, Brahms, Stravinskij and Schubert are just some of the artists and composers that Beatrice and Eleonora masterfully interpret.

TALENTED ITALIAN PIANISTS

That talent that has led them to dedicate their lives to music, to refine and deepen the harmony unique to twins that they so masterfully express in the piano duo. Beatrice and Eleonora present their audience with unique interpretations of the pieces they play, in terms of harmony, quality and coordination.

HARMONY AT THE PIANO AND IN LIFE

Whether playing two pianos at the same time, or seated together at just one piano, the duo is their speciality. In fact, it is in this context that their talent – already immense as solo pianists – is elevated and transports the listener to a new dimension. This is thanks not only to their shared commitment and dedication to music, but also to the unique understanding that results from being twins and having freely chosen the piano with no external impositions. Their complicity is admirable: it is clear that whilst being unique in their singularity, they also provide the perfect complement to each other. All this emerges from listening to their performances, which demonstrate immense attention to detail, thus leading to a coherent and deep interpretation
